When I left home and moved to hostel during my engineering college, one positive I was looking forward to was to get introduced to Western music by friends. It seemed the order of the day to listen to Beatles, Guns n Roses, Pink Floyd and even country music - you name it. BTW, there might be enough people who wouldn't put all of these groups in the same sentence. Anyway, surprise surprise - despite my best intentions, naah.. couldn't catch on. A friend that went by the name of Golu (for looking innocent and round-faced) while introducing me to country music (like "Papa, he loves Mama; Mama, she loves Papa"), introduced me, rather accidentally, to the song below. Some 13 years since then, I've had the opportunity to see the video of the song, thanks to youtube.com. The song is slow and boring by today's standards, but is significant for taking me deeper into Hindi music. Hope you can enjoy!
