This video is about a professor who explains the importance of childhood dreams, and how he was able to achieve most of his own childhood dreams. The impatient listener than I am, I was able to get through only the first half of the video. Here were my notes to self:
1) When there is an elephant in the room, introduce it
2) Things more important than childhood dreams: family
3) When your critics stop bothering you, then it means they have given up on you
4) Experience is what you get when you don't get what you wanted
5) Wait long enough and people will impress you
6) Brick walls on your way are meant for you to know how badly you want something
7) Be careful what you wish for
8) You should become a professor so you can have your cake and eat it too - bridge academia with professional work
