Honey bee - Vol 9

This post is dedicated to some lesser known music directors in the last 7-8 years. Some of them have done remarkably well after their first breaks.

# 1 Suno Piya

This is by a duo called Jeet-Pritam. Many of you probably know the latter as Pritam Chakraborthy of Dhoom fame.

# 2 O Yaara Rab

This is by Sandesh Shandilya AFTER I first came to know about him through the Resham Si Hain Yeh Hawayen Sanam song.

# 3 Sajna Ve Sajna

Sandesh Shandilya again, this time from the movie Chameli. Many people liked the "Bhaage Re Mann" song from the same movie. I prefer "Sajna Ve Sajna".

# 4 Resham Si Hain Yeh

What the hell? No point in skipping/ignoring it -> Let me present to you among the first famous songs of Sandesh Shandilya.. and I like it.

# 5 Woh Pehli Baar

This is by 3 people put together -> Samrat, Shiraz and Vishal, the same Vishal from the Vishal Shekhar fame.

# 6 Jaane Dil Mein Kab Se

This is by Rahul Sharma. I didn't know who this gentleman was till Wikipedia educated me that he was none other than the son of Pandit Shivkumar Sharma - the santoor player of course!

# 7 Suna Na (Jhankar Beats)

This is by our now famous duo of Vishal Shekhar. Much before Om Shanti Om, there was a Jhankaar Beats.

A friend's wife thought I bore a slight resemblance to the guy in the song. But there's another reason to remember the guy -> he became infamous because he was one of the key witnesses turning hostile in the Jessica Lal case.

# 8 Kasto Mazza Hai

This music director seems more of a purist than his contemporaries. It gets a little difficult to appreciate his quality - but no such issues with the movie Parineeta, which was simplified to the common man's taste. Here's one of the songs.

# 9 Piyu Bole

Let's end on a high note with another of Shantanu Moitra's popular songs.
