IPL # 2: Predictions and Misses

The IPL Season 2 Final is tomorrow. Thought I'd take a few minutes to review my own rankings/predictions from an earlier post.

1. Of the Top Four teams I predicted, Three made it (viz. Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad)!
2. At the end of the round robin 56 matches, 5 out of 8 teams stood at exactly the same rankings as I had predicted. Specifically: # 1 Delhi, # 4 Hyderabad, # 5 Punjab, # 6 Rajasthan, # 8 Kolkata.
3. In the 56 round robin matches, teams I supported won 59% of the time!

Am I not thrilled at beating the odds on my predictions? I certainly am. However, I am fairly disappointed with myself that I did not simply support the same teams I supported last year: Hyderabad and Bangalore! When I made my predictions last year supporting these 2 teams, both of them came at the bottom 2. When I changed my rankings this year, they came at the Top 2!!
